Emergency Fire Safety Drill

June 2024 marks China’s 23rd national Work Safety Month, themed “Everyone values safety, everyone knows how to respond to emergencies—keep the life passageways clear.” In alignment with this initiative, Qingdao Yihe Steel Structure Group conducted a comprehensive Fire Emergency Evacuation Drill on June 22nd. The goal was to ensure that every employee has the standard emergency procedures deeply ingrained as instinctive reactions.

To ensure effectiveness without disrupting production, the drills were carried out in scheduled shifts. At 16:30, the first session commenced under the command of the site supervisor. As simulated fire points began to billow smoke, the roar of the workshop machinery was immediately met with the sharp blast of emergency whistles. Following crisp commands, personnel executed their roles according to the company’s Comprehensive Emergency Response Plan:

The Firefighting Team: Led by safety officers, they quickly located the fire points and deployed portable fire extinguishers.

The Inspection Team: Simultaneously searched for secondary fire sources, inspected electrical lines, and monitored for potential reignition.

The Evacuation Team: Organized the remaining staff to exit rapidly through designated safety corridors, followed by a full headcount conducted by workshop supervisors.

The entire process was executed with disciplined urgency, successfully meeting all training objectives.
