Vocational Skills Competition
“I want to thank Yihe Steel Structure Group for not only providing a platform for my career growth but also for creating a stage where we can showcase our skills and learn from one another. This competition has allowed us to identify areas for improvement and continuously push our boundaries,” said Che Caijun, the Submerged Arc Welding champion, during the awards ceremony on May 4th.
To foster a culture of excellence—defined by the spirit of “competing, learning, catching up, helping, and surpassing”—the company organized its 3rd Annual Vocational Skills Competition on May 4th. The event aimed to enhance operational proficiency, strengthen quality awareness, and facilitate technical exchange among staff.

The Champions Emerge
After a day of intense competition and rigorous evaluation by the judging panel, seven “Gold Medals” were awarded.
Civil Construction Category:
Riveting: Hu Zhimin (1st Place)
CO2 Shielded Welding: An Yang (1st Place)
Tack Welding: Yang Jianling (1st Place)
Submerged Arc Welding (SAW): Che Caijun (1st Place)
Team Championship: Won by the Lu Liang Team.
Nuclear Power Category:
Welding: Gao Qinglin (1st Place)
Riveting: Zhang Hongzhi (1st Place)

Professionalism Under Pressure
The competition featured four distinct categories across two divisions, with 96 employees from eight different teams participating. The contestants, all of whom are frontline veterans, were required to interpret complex technical drawings, determine the optimal operational strategy, and execute the task within a strict time limit. Under significant pressure, these “seasoned veterans” demonstrated their profound experience and superior technical craftsmanship.
