Recent Success: Two Company Projects Honored with Shandong Provincial Steel Structure Gold Medal Awards

The Shandong Provincial Steel Structure Industry Association recently announced the winners of the 2024 Steel Structure Gold Medal Engineering Awards. Two of our flagship projects—the Weichai (Qingdao) Marine Equipment Manufacturing Center (Phase I) Ship Assembly Workshop and the Jiaodong Airport Cargo Area Logistics & Warehousing Project—were honored with this prestigious award in recognition of their exceptional construction management and execution.

Project Highlights
Weichai (Qingdao) Marine Equipment Manufacturing Center (Phase I): Aligned with the strategic master plan of the Qingdao West Coast New Area, this project is designed as a high-end maritime hub integrating vessel R&D, manufacturing, and a marine-themed business and experience center. Phase I focused on the construction of production plants and supporting facilities, establishing the capacity to build vessels up to the 60-meter class. The main Ship Assembly Workshop covers over 40,000 square meters with a maximum span of 36 meters.

Jiaodong Airport Cargo Area Logistics & Warehousing Project: Commissioned by the Qingdao International Airport Group, this logistics facility spans over 30,000 square meters. The structural design features a sophisticated two-way orthogonal space frame system with welded ball joints and a high-performance metal roofing system. The project also utilizes a “building-within-a-building” layout featuring a steel frame structure and steel truss floor decks.

The Steel Structure Gold Medal Engineering Award represents the highest honor in Shandong Province’s steel structure industry. Evaluated under the association’s rigorous “Evaluation Standards for Gold Medal Steel Structure Projects,” this recognition underscores our technical prowess.

Since our founding, six of our projects have received this prestigious title. This consistent track record is a testament to our unwavering pursuit of quality.
